Etabl. J. Soubry, registered office at Roeselare at Verbrandhofstraat 51, entered in the Commercial Register (K.B.O.) under number 0402.754.886, (hereinafter abbreviated to SOUBRY) undertakes to only process your personal data as stipulated in accordance with the GDPR legislation (General Data Protection Regulation), which has been in force since 25 May 2018. SOUBRY is responsible for the processing of personal data as set out in this privacy statement.

PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED BY US

SOUBRY processes the following personal data in the following cases:

  1. Recruitment: you apply for a vacant position, internship or holiday job and complete the online application form or send the form together with your CV by a different method and possibly take tests. These include data such as identification data as well as data concerning training, career, motivation, test results, etc.

  2. Commercial relationship or relationship with administration/inspections: you contact SOUBRY for the purchase/sale of goods and services, for inspections/audits of government or other bodies or for other administrative files with the government or other authorities and provide personal details such as your surname, first name, gender, position and company. Health questions can also be asked during the visit in the context of food safety.

  3. Website visits: you visit the SOUBRY website without giving your name or any other information. Your IP address, your browser, your operating system, the external website that referred you to this website and the date and time of each page visited by you are recorded.

  4. Logging in on websites: you log in to the SOUBRY website with an ID and password and give your personal details, such as surname, first name, gender, etc. In view of this happening via the visit to the website, the data from point 3 above are also kept. You can log in to the professional section, with the same rules applying as for the 2nd case above. You can also log on as a consumer, with the same rules applying as for the 5th case below.

  5. Consumer: you contact SOUBRY as a consumer via website, email or telephone and provide personal details such as your name, address, telephone number and email address.

SPECIAL AND/OR SENSITIVE DATA PROCESSED BY US

Our website does not intend to collect data about visitors to the website who are younger than 16 years, unless they have the permission of their parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore encourage parents to be involved in their children’s online activities so as to prevent data concerning children being collected without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal data pertaining to a minor without such permission, please contact us via the address above so that this information can be deleted.

PURPOSES FOR THE COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

  1. Recruitment: Personal data in the context of recruitment, including the application form, the CV and information obtained during the interview, are only processed or used to check your suitability for the position desired by you and for communication with you as the applicant.

  2. Commercial relationship or relationship with administration/inspections: the personal data will only be used to contact you via the various typical methods (email, telephone, etc.) in this context. Any questions concerning health during the visit are necessary in the context of food safety.

  3. Website visits: the information collected is used to remember your preferences, for statistical purposes and for further improvement of the website.

  4. Logging in on websites: the data in the context of the visit to the professional website is kept for the purpose of being able to check whether a (potential) commercial relationship exists with SOUBRY and to be able to contact you in this respect. As a consumer, your personal data is kept for the reasons stated under point 5.

  5. Consumer: as a consumer, your personal data is kept to enable us to send you newsletters or information about our products, in the context of surveys, or to be able to contact you as part of marketing campaigns or give you an answer in the event of questions or complaints concerning one of our products. The objective is therefore to be able to improve our products and services based on information from our consumers.

CONSENT

By using the website and/or communicating personal data, you expressly agree to the way in which SOUBRY collects and keeps personal data, as described in this Privacy Policy. You also agree with the specified retention periods. If you do not agree with this, you can request a derogation.

HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR?

SOUBRY does not store your personal data for any longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data are collected, which shall be within the legal obligations of a maximum period of 10 years.

SHARING PERSONAL DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES

SOUBRY does not sell your data to third parties and only provides this information if it is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to meet a legal obligation or if this is required for operational reasons. We conclude a processor agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf in order to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality for your data. Soubry remains responsible for these processing operations.

As far as recruitment is concerned, SOUBRY may exchange information concerning candidates with recruitment agencies that are also responsible for the recruitment or testing/assessment of the candidates.
